The area around the Monastery of Santes Creus is in absolute need of hotels considering the historical value of the region and the amount of tourists that visit this place each year. So the idea was to establish in the Monastery area a very special hotel that on the one hand could offer a personal stay with direct contact with the owners and on the other hand a stay with maximum comfort based on the facilities and the peace it offers and where one can undertake small excursions during a weekend or a rural holiday with all its attractions. A very important aspect would be the meals; they would be based on products from the family vegetable garden, prepared with care and love; products from the season and fish and meat all served with the right wines a paramount for the owners as they are themselves oenologists. Also adequate activities had to be possiblesuch as walking, bicycle trips, horse-riding all in the beautiful surroundings. Then, the place is one hour away from Barcelona, also from the Roman City Tarragona and the more modern city of Reus and not to forget: the nearby beaches. This combination made it ideal for any guest. Finally the place chosen was the Noble Manor of "Cal Graller de les Pobles". Its reconstruction has made it possible for us to make a dream come true and enabled us to spoil our guests with a really peaceful and placid hotel.
