Next to the church of the village called "Santa Maria de Les Pobles" stood a noble family home. This home has been totally refurbished and is now known as Hostatgeria de Celma Hotel***. The refurbishment recovered the old structure and architectural details were respected and restored. The ground floor is its greatest showpiece. It features a generously sized hall consisting of two rooms that welcome the guests. From this floor you can view the caves underneath through glass-covered openings that show the visitor a collection of ceramics. The thick walls give an idea of what kind of building this home was in the era when it was dedicated to the production of Penedès wines, oil and other local agricultural products. It overlooks absolutely magnificent scenery for company meetings, small conventions and commercial presentations. On the first floor and all in the same style the hotel offers its dining room, exquisitely Decorated, featiromg a bar in one corner. Next to the dining room one finds the reading room, also ideal for listening to soft music or simply taking a rest and enjoying the silence and beauty of the place. A fireplace separates this room from the dining room. On the same floor there are two bedrooms. Then we go onto the second floor where we find five ensuite bedrooms. The furniture is all antique. Each room enjoys a connection to TV, and Internet. There is a lift to facilitate going up and down for guests who may have difficulties in using the staircase. It is a hotel with taste, in a Mediterranean style and with the specific aim of giving the guest peace of mind, quietness and relaxation amidst the beauty of the region. At the rear of the hotel there is a garden where a swimming pool will be built and is planned to come into use in the year 2008. There is no need to say how wonderful it will be to enjoy a swim and a chat in the garden around the swimming pool.
